Junkyard Dogs Honour Their Own
rsz_nettieneudorfmini.jpg The Portage Junkyard Dogs handed out their year-end awards after celebrating a successful season.

Nettie Neudorf's amazing season was recognized as she took home the Athlete of the Year award in the Road Bike Program.

In the Mountain Bike Program, Male Athlete of the Year went to Don Sissons while Hannah Boresma took home Female Athlete of the Year. Gord Sokolosky was named Most Improved while Most Promising went to Ian Alford.

Willem Boresma claimed Male Athlete of the Year honours in the Kids of Mud Program. Female Athlete of the Year went to Jessica Alford. Paul Stanley took home Most Improved and Most Promising went to Kailen Shackleton.

In the Triathlon Program, Female Athlete of the Year went to Rhonda Kitchen while Trevor Pizzey claimed Male honours. John Ferg was named Most Improved.

Dory Boresma was recognized for her hard work throughout the season with the Volunteer of the Year award.

Sean Leonhart was named Commissar of the Year.

The final award of the night, the JYD Club Builder Award, went to the Two Tired Boys Bike Shop.
