The Portage Terriers and Winnipeg Blues are back in action tonight for game three of the Addison Division final.

Both teams have picked up a win so far as the series looks to be every bit as even as it was expected to be. The Terriers took game one by a score of 5-4 before losing 3-2 in double overtime in game two on Sunday night. Captain Andrew Wiebe says the Dogs will be looking for a better start tonight.

"We gotta get up and on them earlier," says Wiebe. "Just settle down in our end. I feel like we're getting a little flustered and throwing the puck to places that it shouldn't go. We just gotta settle down and take our time and we should be good."

The Terriers will be looking for improvement on their powerplay tonight. So far in the series, the club is 0-for-12. The Blues, on the other hand, have been a machine on special teams. They lead the league in playoff powerplay and penalty kill percentages. Defenseman Justin Slobozian says if the Dogs want to improve, they've got to keep going with what they know works.

"Just gotta move our feet," says the Dauphin native. "Keep things going, trust our systems and just go hard. It'll eventually work out for us."

One player who sees plenty of time on both the powerplay and penalty kill for Portage is rookie forward Dylan Butler. The Thunder Bay product has stepped up his game in the playoffs, putting up two goals and five assists in six games. He's tied for second on the team in playoff scoring with Mike Gemmill and Shaq Merasty, two points back of Brendan Harms. The Steinbach native has three goals and six assists.

The puck drops on game three tonight at 7:30 pm at the PCU Centre.
