The Pembina Valley Hawks are one win away from claiming the 2011-2012 Manitoba Female Midget "AAA" Hockey League title.

Jessica Kaminsky and Lauryn Keen scored first period goals as Pembina Valley shutdown the Winnipeg Avros 2-0 on Wednesday night at MTS Iceplex.
Brittni Mowat stopped 30 shots in recording her second straight shutout.

The Hawks lead the best-of-five final two game to none. Game three goes Sunday night in Morden.
