PCI's junior varsity volleyball teams were in top form last night in Portage.

The JV Saints and Trojans both swept Fort Richmond in West Winnipeg Athletic Conference Action. Saints' Abby Vanstone outlines the secret to their success.

"We all get along, and that shows on the court. We communicate well, and serving is a strength of any volleyball team, and we definitely improved from last game with our serves."

McEwing nails a spike for a big point

Trojans' newcomer Joseph McEwing says they were a lot more comfortable on the court, and it resulted in a win.

"We were definitely more confident, and we talked a lot more this game. Our passing was definitely better too."

The JV squads are back it Tuesday when they visit Stonewall.
