The PCI Trojans are in Neepawa today for the Tigers' JV Volleyball Tournament. JV Trojans' Head Coach Ryan Muirhead says they've been on the court for a couple of weeks now, and he's looking forward to a good year of competing in the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference.

Last year we had a group of only Grade 9's, and we were facing mostly Grade 10 teams in the Winnipeg league. So I'm hoping we're going to have more success this season."

The Trojans were in Brandon last weekend and ended up placing 5th in the tournament. Muirhead says the boys area lot more confident after a couple of days of practice this week.

"A lot of the problems last weekend were just because it's the beginning of the season. We're having trouble with position work and we worked a lot on getting the boys to know where they're supposed to be this week."

The Trojans first match of the tournament is this morning at 9 against Gladstone. They go again at 11:30 and 12:20 p.m.

The JV Saints are also in tournament action today. They're in Winnipeg for the MBCI JV Invitational.
