The Portage Terriers are in OCN today to face the Blizzard in MJHL hockey.

The Terriers suffered their first loss of the season to Steinbach Wednesday night, and want to get back on track with a win today. It was their first regular season loss dating back to January 3rd of last season, which also came at the hands of the Pistons. Terriers' defenseman Riley Thiessen says they need to be better in their own end if they want to win.

"I thought our defensive zone was a little sloppy. I think we just need to tighten up there, guarantee the blue lines, and I think from that we should be a lot better."

Terriers' Head Coach Blake Spiller says they aren't approaching the game any differently from their match against Steinbach.

"We're just going up there like it's any other weekend. Obviously, you get into a couple of tough barns up there in OCN and Swan. They're both a little smaller and similar to (Steinbach's) rink."

OCN enters the game undefeated at 2-0. The Terriers and Blizzard go at 7 p.m. Portage continues their road trip tomorrow in Swan River.
