The Portage Terriers are back on the ice today, getting ready for Sunday's Turnbull Cup final opener at the PCU Centre.

The Terriers and Winnipeg Saints met up eight times during the regular season with both teams earning four wins. Portage captain Andrew Wiebe says they know what to expect from the high-flying Saints.

With a week off between games, both teams have time to rest up and heal any nagging injuries. The Terriers have been without Cody Kostecki and Mike Gemmill for the past few games and lost forward Kajon McKay during their game six win over the Blues. Coach Blake Spiller gives us an update on the progress of the three veterans.

The week off also gives the teams plenty of time to practice and shore up their game before the start of the final series. Spiller says they've got lots to do before the first puck drops.

During the season series, it was the visitors who held the advantage with each team winning three games in the other's building. The best-of-seven Turnbull Cup finals gets underway Sunday night at 6:30 pm at the PCU Centre.
