A recent art show in Portage la Prairie has tackled a difficult subject of sexual exploitation. The Eagle's Fire Youth Centre hosted the display on Tuesday, as part of Stop Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Week, which runs until March 11th. Artist Ben Monkman showcased some of his work at the event. He says it is important to address this subject and send out the message that  we must do what we can to protect people. Portage Friendship Centre Executive Director Stuart Alcorn says the art show offered youth the chance to express themselves on this difficult topic in a safe environment.   He says the artists created the works because they felt it was important to get the word out on this difficult issue and help raise awareness to people.
