Children in Portage and surrounding area will have the opportunity to let their inner actors shine during the upcoming Portage and District Arts Centre Drama Camp. PDAC Executive Director Jean Armstrong says it's a fun way for kids to spend their spring break. The camp runs March 26th to 30th and it's all day 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Armstrong explains campers will spend their days learning all the ins and outs about acting and create short little vignettes they will perform on the last day for friends and family. Armstrong notes the camp is open for kids ages 7 to 13 and the instructor is Christopher Kitchen. She adds Kitchen is an excellent workshop instructor, who is great with kids, and feels it will be an amazing week for those who are interested in performing. More information is available on the PDAC website and they will also be sending out brochures in the near future.
