It's the final day of Manitoba Ag Days in Brandon, an event that's been a draw for many producers in the region.

Manitoba Ag Days co-chair Brad Crammond, from Austin, Man., says one of the main attractions at the show is a local piece of farming history, a restored tractor known as Big Roy.

"That's a kind of neat thing this year, (especially) being from Austin, Big Roy is our star," says Crammond. "If people haven't seen him, he's something to see."

"It really is an amazing restoration."

Crammond adds, the annual farming exhibition serves between 40,000 to 50,000 patrons and 535 exhibitors in a 540,000 square-foot space. In addition to attracting producers from across Manitoba, farmers from Saskatchewan and North Dakota attended this year.

"We can't be more happy with the turnout we've had," Crammond says. "...There's so many familiar faces and people from the past, and that's one of the things that makes Ag Days so great."
