Portage la Prairie firefighters and RCMP were called out around 10:30 last night, after a car was reported burning north of the city.

It was just off Highway 240, a quarter of a mile east on Road 71 North.

The vehicle was destroyed, with no injuries.

The RCMP are investigating.
