Organizers of the Central Plains Challenge Walk are excited to launch their new re-vamped website. Board and Marketing Committee member Lucy Harris says they're really excited to have re-done the entire website and, for the first time, will be offering online registration and donations. Harris notes the intent was to make things a lot more comprehensive. She adds in the past you had to physically go to a registration site and now you can do it all online. People don't have to chalk as much time out of their days and they're hoping it will make things more accessible for everyone. Harris says response has been overwhelmingly positive to the modernized and easy to navigate site. She points to a fun new feature they've added where every person who signs up online will get their own donor page. The page comes complete with the participants picture, a description of why they're walking, and a link. Harris explains this can be e-mailed to friends allover the world, they can click on the link and make donations. Overall the site has become easier to enjoy, which is what Harris says they were going for.
