Artist Micheline Berard

Local artists hoping to showcase their skills have a new venue to do so.  The Dakota Art Show has been organized to take place as part of the Dakota Tipi First Nation Annual Health Fair.  Micheline Berard is helping to organize the showcase. Berard says for people just starting out in art, the idea of displaying their work can be a bit daunting. She says this show is looking to give them a comforting environment to show their work to the public and have a bit of fun.

Berard says the art show will include, painting to carving and everything in between.  The Dakota Art Show will be located in the Gaming Centre on the reserve. Everyone is welcome to attend. The show starts at 1130am and will wrap up at 5 pm.
