March Madness has hit the hardwood in Portage la Prairie as members of the R.C.M.P. played a charity game against P.C.I. students. The match-up was put together to help bring in donations for the North Memorial Breakfast Program. Constable Shannon Neff says it was a great event that garnered a lot of support for a very deserving initiative.

P.C.I. Senior Scott Robinson was one of the youth who helped put the game together. He says it was great to help out the breakfast program. He says the game itself was a lot of fun and the donations brought in will hopefully  keep a very good project operational for the rest of the year.

The exact amount of donations that were brought in will be finalized within the next few days. As for the game, the R.C.M.P. was able to come away with 33-28 victory.
