Portage la Prairie RCMP are investigating a two vehicle accident that occurred this morning on Highway 16, near Westbourne.
The Mounties say a car appears to have driven into the back of a semi-trailer.
A woman in her 50's was the only occupant of the car. She was taken to hospital in portage with undetermined injuries, although they're believed to be non-life threatening.
Sergeant Rob McCarville says the RCMP traffic analyst is investigating.

Portage la Prairie firefighters spent most of yesterday, and part of this morning, containing grass fires in the St. Ambroise area.
The call came in around 9:30 yesterday morning, and crews were busy until almost 1:30 this morning.
The blazes were confined to grass and bush areas, so no property damage was reported.
