Portage la Prairie firefighters responded to a call about a water tanker truck on fire on Caithness Avenue in Mellenville this morning.
The call came in around 11 o'clock.
The blaze was confined to the truck's cab, and was quickly extinguished. There are no reports of injuries.
The cause is being investigated.
