November was another busy month for the Portage la Prairie Planning District.

General Manager/Development Officer Lynn Anderson has been crunching the numbers and she says they're happy with the progress made in 2022 so far.

"We've had four new singles for a total of $862,000, three being in the RM and one being in the city," says Anderson. "We have six repairs in the commercial section for a value of $2,469,000. We've had 31 permits for the month of November for a total of $5,900,000."

Compared to this time last year, value are down a little bit, but all in all, Anderson says things are still positive.

"In 2022, we've had a total of 271 permits for a value of $64,000,922," says Anderson. "In 2021, we had a total of 357 permits for a total of $71,974,000."

The Planning District has their next meeting scheduled for January 19th where they will look at the results for the entire year to see where they stack up compared to the previous five years.
