This weekend was a final goodbye for 1500 former students and staff of Arthur Meighen High School. The school's farewell reunion ended yesterday.

Organizer Jonathan Davis is convinced it was important to allow for closure. Now that the reunion is over, he thinks the amalgamated high school will carry a lot of the essence of Arthur Meighen into the future.

Davis calls the farewell reunion very successful, with the dinner and dance Saturday as the highlight.

He adds the turnout shows how much the school meant to students and staff, and why they want to hold onto the history.
