The 94th edition of the CFL's biggest game is drawing in football fans from across the country and Portage la Prairie is receiving some attention as Winnipeg hotels are booked solid. Days Inn Assistant Manager Linda Mazurat says business has been slow due to the by-pass closure, however this weekend they're expecting 300 guests and have had to hire extra staff to meet the demand.
Mazurat calls the weekend a lifesaver for business, noting staff are ready for an exciting weekend of hosting CFL fans from across the nation.
Meanwhile at Portage's Super 8 motel, Manager Bob Fitchner says they already have a fairly full weekend and the added guests will be a nice bonus.
