The provincial cabinet has a new look, after Premier Gary Doer shuffled the deck this afternoon.

Portage MLA David Faurschou thinks the most significant changes are Gord MacIntosh moving from Justice to Family Services, and Dave Chomiak taking over Justice. Faurschou thinks Chomiak will make a good justice minister.

Faurschou also approves of the move of Theresa Oswald into Health, to replace the retiring Tim Sale.

Faurschou admits he was surprised at the change in justice minister. He also has concerns about changing the names and adding responsibilities to some portfolios. That's especially true for the new Infrastructure department, which takes in Transportation, among other responsibilities.

Faurschou labels the changes confusing, and worries road projects could be delayed.
