A man who spent parts of four seasons with the Portage Terriers and collected two MJHL championships for two different organizations has committed to further his education while continuing to play high-level hockey.

21-year-old Portager Logan Calder has committed to playing hockey at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, of the United States, for the upcoming campaign.

Calder, who won the Turnbull Memorial Trophy twice in his MJHL career, once with the Portage Terriers in 2019 and in 2022 with the Dauphin Kings, collected 119 points in 174 games throughout his Jr. A career.
