Canada will play it's final preliminary round game today against Denmark at the World Junior Hockey Championship in the Czech Republic.

Canada saw it's 20-game winning streak come to an end this past Saturday with a 4-3 loss to Sweden. The Swede's will clinch a berth in the semi-final with a win this morning over the Czech Republic.

Team West will put it's 2 and 0 record on the line this afternoon against the United States at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Woodstock, Ontario. Brandon Wheat Kings forward Scott Glennie had two goals and two assists on Sunday as Team West downed Team Atlantic 7-4. Earlier Team West edged Germany 3-2.

Canada will face Salavat Yulaev Ufa of Russia in today's Gold Medal game at the Spengler Cup Hockey Tournament in Davos, Switzerland. Dale McTavish and Simon Gamache scored third period goals yesterday as Canada beat Adler Mannheim 4-2. The Canadians finished the round robin with a perfect 4 and 0 record. Canada shaded Salavat Yulaev Ufa 3-2 on Saturday.

The Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings will play their final game of 2007 today in Edmonton against the Oil Kings. The Wheat Kings dropped a 6-5 decision to the Calgary Hitmen yesterday. Matt Calvert had two goals and an assist for Brandon. Tyler Dittmer, Nathan Green and Matt Lowry also scored for the Wheat Kings.
