It takes strength, determination and stamina to bike across Canada.  A Toronto man is doing it to raise money and awareness for cancer--on the strength of one leg.  David Visschedyk lost his leg to cancer at the age of eight, now he's riding cross country to raise money for research.  Visschedyk arrived in Portage la Prairie last night after leaving Vancouver on the 1st of July, he's experienced great generosity so far, raising $22,000 of his $50,000 goal.
Visschedyk left Portage around 6:00 this morning, he's hoping to complete his trek in Halifax on August 26th.
