The Carman area RCMP conducted a checkstop Wednesday looking for any infractions under the Highways Traffic Act.

The program was run on Highway 3 at the south end of Carman.

Staff Sergeant Mark Lemaistre says other agencies were involved as well, including Manitoba Transport Compliance, Manitoba Fuel Tax, and Manitoba Conservation.

Lemaistre adds the charges ranged from seatbelt infractions to suspended and unlicensed drivers.

He says there were also charges for the use of colored fuel.
