It was a wet start to what was supposed to be the first official day of classes at PCI. An early morning water main break at the high school campus has meant no school today for Portage high school students.  Portage School Division Operations Manager Tom Henry says calls the incident disheartening.
He notes the City of Portage is working on the problem and will have to dig up the pipe to replace it.  Unfortunately the pipe is located somewhere beneath the new parking lot and once the pipe is dug up and replaced crews will have to repave.  Henry is optimistic the problem will be resolved and classes will go on as scheduled tomorrow.
