It's been a hot and humid summer, local factories are doing their best to ensure employees are keeping cool.  Local employers are making sure their employees keep cool during the hot and humid days we've seen this summer.  At Simplot Canada Plant Manager Jim Englar notes they provide employees with plenty  ways to keep hydrated, and when necessary will allow for extra breaks.  He notes the health of employees is top priority, he feels it's the responsibility of a good employer.
Can-Oat Milling Plant Manager Ian Currie echoes Englar, noting employees must be kept cool.  Can-Oat provides employees with air conditioned lunch rooms to make sure they have a chance to cool down when it gets too hot.
