Work's under way at Portage's Habitat for Humanity site, as they gear up for the week of July 10th to 14th. That's when the exterior is expected to be built.

The work's done by volunteers, and Volunteer Co-ordinator Carey Duncan notes they'll need 15 to 20 each day that week.
The plan is to have the exterior finished and secured by July 14th.

Duncan has a lot of volunteers lined up, but hopes a few more people with construction experience come forward, to guide those who don't.
