A tough day for Manitoba at the 2007 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Manitoba's Jennifer Jones lost 8-3 yesterday at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Lethbridge to defending champion Kelly Scott of Kelowna in her final round robin game yesterday and finished in third place with a 9 and 2 record. Scott and Jan Betker of Saskatchewan will meet in tonights 1-2 page playoff game while Jones will wait for the winner of two sets of tie-breakers between Krista Scharf of Ontario, Cheryl Bernard of Alberta and Suzanne Gaudet of Prince Edward Island to find out who see faces in the 3-4 game. This morning Scharf will meet Bernard and that winner will face Gaudet for fourth place.

Carman's Bill North and Rob Ramage of Baldur both have 1 and 1 records heading into day two of the Provincial Senior Men's Championship at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg. North beat Norm Magnusson of Victoria 8-3 and then lost 8-5 to Lee Robins of Minnedosa.
