In the MJHL pre-season last night, Portage Terriers were 6-4 winners over Winkler. The Dogs roared back from a 4-0 deficit after the first period. Mike Audino led the charge, with two goals and an assist. Eric DeLong chipped in a pair as well. Chris Benias had a goal and an assist. Luke McInnis had the other Terriers' goal, while Brendan Young posted two assists. Goaltending chores were shared by Mike Marino and Davis Buchanan.
The Terriers visit Weyburn of the SJHL tonight.
Elsewhere, Swan Valley got by Nipawin of the SJHL 3-1. Wwaywayseecapo dumped Melville of the SJHL 9-4.

Winnipeg Goldeyes were winners in the Northern Baseball League. They stopped Calgary Vipers 7-6. Game two of that series goes this afternoon in Calgary. Last night's victory clinched the wild card spot for the Fish. They'll open the playoffs Thursday in Fargo.

This is the final day of competition at the Canada Senior Games in Portage. It'll see final medal presentations, as well as closing ceremonies.
