The Portage Terriers will open their preseason at home against the team that kept them out of the playoffs last season.

The Virden Oil Capitals will come to Stride Place on Tuesday, September 6th to open the preseason schedule. The Terriers needed to win the final game of the season to make the playoffs, but dropped a 3-2 decision on March 19th.

The Terriers head to Neepawa on September 7th, before welcoming the Titans back to Portage on September 9th. The Dogs wrap up their preseason on the road September in Virden.

The Terriers open the season on the road in Selkirk on Friday, September 16th. Their home opener is Sunday September 18th when the Steelers come to town. You can see more on the regular season schedule here.
