The Manitoba Moose opened their three-game road trip with a loss.

Mike Keane had the lone goal for the Moose who lost 3-1 to the defending Calder Cup champion Hamilton Bulldogs. Manitoba faces off with the Lake Erie Monsters tonight. The Moose are currently 11 points back of the American Hockey League's North Division leading Toronto Marlies.

The Brandon Wheat Kings suffered just their second loss in the month of December after dropping a 2-1 home-ice decision to the Regina Pats. Keith Aulie had the lone goal for the Wheat Kings who trail the Western Hockey League's East Division leading Pats by one point. Brandon will close out the 2007 portion of their schedule with road games against the Calgary Hitmen on Sunday and the Edmonton Oil Kings on Monday.
