The federal government's facing a lawsuit from former Canada Post Chair Andre Oulette.

He was fired after allegations of patronage appointments were reported.

Portage-Lisgar MP Brian Pallister points out Oulette wasn't accountable while in the position, and his dismissal was justified.
Pallister's upset about the 3.2 million dollar suit, calling it an attempt to have taxpayers pay off Liberal cronies.

He adds Oulette ran Canada Post unfairly, handing out untendered contracts, hiring family members, and receiving two million dollars in untaxed personal benefits.
