Garden Valley girls and Steinbach Regional Secondary School boys are Provincial Rural High School Soccer Champions. The Zodiacs blanked Steinbach Regional 1-0 in the girls final. The Sabres edged Neepawa 1-0 in the boys final. Miller Collegiate dropped a 3-1 decision to Neepawa in the girls third place game while Portage Collegiate girls fell 1-0 to Hapnot Collegiate of Flin Flon in the consolation final. Garden Valley took the boys third place game downing Niverville 4-1. Miller boys lost 2-1 to Hamiota in the consolation semi-final. The Provincials were held this past weekend in Stonewall.
