Chad Faurschou's expectations are on track to being surpassed. Support continues to pour in for a Portager's bike ride from city hall to a Bomber game in Winnipeg two weeks ago.

Chad Faurschou put his neuro-motor disabilities aside and hoped to give back and raise three thousand dollars for the Movement Centre of Manitoba.  Right now the funds stand between the three thousand and the 35-hundred dollar mark, and with pledges still coming in from Winnipeg and RBC locations, his initial goal is on track to being blown out of the water.

As Margy Nelson of the Movement Centre explains the funds will go to the child/young adult program Faurschou's currently involved with.

Nelson calls him a hero, especially since this isn't the first time he has supported the centre.

Regardless of the final amount raised Nelson calls the number significant, as they cover 75 per cent of rehabilitation costs.
