The Portage la Prairie RCMP need your help to solve a stabbing.

The incident happened on December 14th, at approximately 3 p.m. They received a call from a local hospital of a stabbing victim.

RCMP Media Liaison Constable Larry Neufeld says 42 year old man from Portage had been admitted, in stable condition. He adds the victim and witnesses weren't forthcoming in providing information about the event to officers.

The Mounties were able to determine the incident occurred at a residence on Oak Bay in Portage.
