About 200 motorcycles will be on the road today in southern Manitoba. It's the Ride For Sight fundraiser for the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

One of the riders is Treherne's Travis Rintoul. He's proud to be part of the longest-running motorcycle charity in Canada.

Rintoul and company leave the legislature at 11 this morning. He notes the ride is slightly different this year, ending in Treherne rather than Morden. The Treherne Kinsmen Club picked up the event this year.

The Ride For Sight began in 1979, with only a few riders, and has spread across the country, raising about 14 million dollars.

Rintoul adds they've partnered with Lone Star Harley-Davidson in Winnipeg, who may bring some of their show bikes to Treherne.
