The RM of Westbourne has a new Reeve. David Single has been acclaimed as Reeve, replacing outgoing Reeve Ed Stroeder.  Single previously served two terms as councillor, he feels the acclamation shows people believe he can do the job.  Single is pleased to take over as Reeve.  He says he would have liked to have seen an election, noting an election would lead to discussion on the issues facing the RM. 
Single plans to continue on with the regional water project, he would like to see the amalgamation of Gladstone and Westbourne in the future.
