There are nine candidates running for a seat in Portage School Board's Ward 1,  among them is Judith Stambuski. Stambuski believes there a lot of issues that need to be examined.  Adding the drop in enrollment and resources are definately on her list.  Stambuski was a school trustee in the Western School Division before moving to Portage.  She feels the best way to improve the community is to start with our schools.
