High school exams got underway this week and many students are feeling the pressure.  Tracy Vanstone is a Guidance Councilor at Portage Collegiate, she says students are often overwhelmed at this time of year, however she notes some stress can be positive and will act as a motivator, it's just a matter of controlling it.
Vanstone adds it's a good idea to cut back on the work hours and take time to study before heading in to an exam.  Arthur Meighen Guidance Councilor Marie Rohleder echoes these comments and notes it's also important to get lots of rest, she adds eating a good breakfast can go a long way in giving you the concentration and focus you need when writing exams.
