The Portage Terriers are continuing to reshape their roster as they have made their sixth trade of the offseason.

The Terriers have acquired the MHJL list rights to defenceman Evan Toth from the Winnipeg Blues in exchange for forward Thomas Kaufield.

The 20-year-old defenceman has only played in two MJHL contests after spending the last three seasons in the WHL. He put up a total of 17 points in 59 games last season with the Vancouver Giants. Portage head coach and general manager Blake Spiller says Toth would be a huge addition if he comes down at any point this season.

Kaufield scored 13 points in 36 games in his rookie season for the Terriers.
