There were five games in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League last night, the Terriers were taking on the Blues. 

Carson Rowat notched his 14th of the season midway through the 1st period on the power play, however the lead was short lived as Brendan Arniel found the net for the Blues to tie the game at 1 heading in to the second frame.  It was Rowat again in the second with his second goal of the night, Robbie Roteliuk recorded his second assist of the night on the Rowat's second goal.  It was 2-1 Terriers heading in to the third period but the dogs couldn't keep the Blues off the board as Stephane Phaneuf scored his 17th of the year to tie and force overtime.  In the extra period it took a mere 56 seconds for Daniel Bohemier to finish the game off, the marker was his 32 of the year.  In last night's other action it was Waywayseecappo over Winkler 5-4, Selkirk beat the Saints 5-2, OCN defeated Neepawa 6-4 and Dauphin outscored Swan Valley 5-1.  There are four games in the league tonight, the Terriers play host to the visiting Southeast Blades. 

Other Local Hockey action last night saw the Oakville Seals skate to a 12-8 win over Notre Dame in the Southeastern Manitoba Hockey League.  In Tiger Hills Hockey League play, Killarney nipped Wawanesa 7-6 and Gladstone dumped Crystal City 13-1.  In Western Hockey League action the Brandon Wheat Kings won 4-1 over Saskatoon. 

Drew MacIntyre got the start in net for the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League last night in place of injured Wade Flaherty.  MacIntyre stopped 40 of 42 shots and the Moose beat the Americans 3-2 to pick up their 19th victory on the season.  The Moose are now in a tie with the Americans for 1st place in the AHL's North Division.
