Another day has gone by at the 2022 Canada Summer Games. Here are some of the latest updates on local athletes.

Manitoba's female lacrosse team finished the round-robin undefeated after taking down New Brunswick 7-1 yesterday. Portage's own Kaylee Perry stopped 19 of the 20 shots she faced in the contest. The goalie has only allowed six goals through for games in the tournament. Manitoba moves on to the quarter-finals today at 4 p.m. where they take on Nova Scotia.

The Manitoban baseball team got back in the win column yesterday, picking up a 4-0 victory over Prince Edward Island. They are set to hit the field for their final round-robin contest today against Alberta at 6 p.m.

Saint Laurent wrestler Anaka Chartrand has won three of her four matches in the team portion of the wrestling event. Provinces went head to head and sent one wrestler from each weight class to compete against the representative from the other province. Despite Manitoba only going 1-3 thus far, Chartrand has seen quite a bit of success. The last team matchup is set for 1:00 today, where Manitoba goes up against Prince Edward Island. The individual matchups go down tomorrow.

Soren Weselake is on the track currently in the male mountain bike relay event.
