The Treherne RCMP recently attended to reports of a rash of break and enters.

RCMP say they received a call around 4 a.m., on June 1, near the Norfolk Treherne area. Police say the suspects entered a farmyard but were discovered by the property owners. Police say the suspects escaped by vehicle down Road 51 West, then turned east on Highway 2.

Mounties add the automobile is suspected to be stolen from the Fannystelle area, which officers located later in the day abandoned near Long Plain First Nation.

Treherne RCMP then received a report of a B&E into a building on Road 50 North, in Norfolk Treherne R.M. Police say multiple items were taken from the building over several days.

Officers add the items left at the scene were items from a stolen vehicle reported from Fannystelle a few days earlier, which was found on June 1.
