The Portage Collegiate Trojans are looking for their third straight win in the Zone 4 High School Hockey League tonight.

They will be welcoming the Notre Dame Mustangs to town. The Trojans won a hard-fought game in their last outing, head coach Eric Eronen says he wants the guys to show that same effort level in every game.

"We can put pucks in the net so, we should never be giving up on a game even if we're down two or three goals," says Eronen. "We've shown, on a couple of occasions, we can have six or seven-goal periods. Hopefully, we can keep that up and they learn that giving up is not the answer. We can push through some of the better teams in this league with that mentality."

The last time these two teams met it didn't go the Trojans way, they fell 7-1. However, the change in venue will work to the Trojans advantage as this time the game will take place in Portage.

Eronen talks about some of the areas he still wants to see improvement.

"We need to find guys better in front of our net. We're getting a little too puck focused, kind of drifting towards the puck leaving a guy wide open. Tightening that up would be huge," says Eronen. "Also, just cleaning up the turnovers. Little things like that can hurt you, luckily they didn't hurt us too much last game (against the Pembina Tigers). Hopefully, we can tighten that up too because giving up five goals isn't good, luckily we scored seven (against the Pembina Tigers)."

Puck drop for tonight's game is scheduled for 7:30 at Stride Place.
