Another rainfall warning has been issued for communities across the Central Plains for this weekend.

Environment and Climate Change Canada says the third major low pressure system in three weeks is coming to the area. Between tonight and tomorrow, we could see 20 to 50 millimetres of heavy rain. They note the ground is already very wet from the previous rainfall we've received, and cannot absorb much more.

As you get closer to the international border, there could be some thunderstorm action as well.

Flash flooding and water pooling on roads is possible, as is localized flooding in low-lying areas. You can read more on this warning on the weather page here.
