A 26-year-old man from Winnipeg has been arrested following an incident involving a stolen vehicle.
Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle from a business along Highway #1 near Road 29 West at 3:16 p.m. on December 2nd.
That's when Police say that the suspects approached a person indicating their tire had gone flat and asked for assistance before subsequently stealing a vehicle from this location. The vehicle that the suspects came with and left behind had been reported stolen out of Winnipeg.
The vehicle stolen from the RM of Portage was recovered by Winnipeg Police Services on December 4th.
