The Portage Blaze soccer team is on the field today in Winnipeg to play the California Raisins. The Blaze started the season with a 3-0 win and look to add another against a team they haven't faced in years. Head coach Bryan Mintenko says they'll be able to play a bit more offensive in today's game.

"We match up pretty well against them. I think we'll be able to have a bit more of an offensive game than our last one. We played more of a defensive style in our last game against a very strong team, but we should be able to get a few more offensive chances for sure."

Kickoff for today's game is at 6pm at the Winnipeg Soccer Complex.
