The Central Plains Capitals have a shot at their second Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League Championship in-a-row tonight.

The Caps hold a 2-1 best-of-5 series lead over the Yellowhead Chiefs, after taking Game three 1 to nothing in Shoal Lake. Central Plains' Head Coach Ferdi Nelissen knows what kind of effort it takes to win a championship at this level.

"We have to continue to be very good in our own end, moving the puck, getting down and making sure we're creating enough chances to get some goals. It's a 200 foot game and we've told the girls -- it's one shift at a time, one battle at a time -- and if we keep playing the way we've been playing and executing, hopefully we'll get a positive result."

It took the Caps all 5 games to get the job done last season. Tonight's game goes at 7:45 at the PCU Centre.
