The Central Plains Capitals' are in Winnipeg to face the Thrashers tonight for Manitoba AAA Midget hockey.

The Caps and Thrashers are both 4-1 this season. The Caps lost 4-1 Sunday to Yellowhead, and Head Coach Brad Gnidziejko says they had a great week of practice to bounce back.

"On Tuesday we did a lot of individual skill stuff, worked on a lot of agility and those sorts of things. Thursday's practices we're going to try to get ready for the games that are coming up. That will be the process for the teams we're going to see on the weekend."

Gnidziejko outlines what they're expecting from the Thrashers.

"They're a little more physical than some of the teams we've seen so far, and they have really good goaltending, but the Wild had all of that and we were able to kind of put our best foot forward. So hopefully we can do the same against the Thrashers."

The Caps and Thrashers face off at 7:30 p.m. in Winnipeg. The Caps also play Sunday afternoon in Souris.
