Game 3 of the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League Championship Final between the Central Plains Capitals and the Yellowhead Chiefs is tonight in Shoal Lake.

The Chiefs won game 2 in double overtime, scoring the game winner on the powerplay. Caps' forward Emily Upgang gives her thoughts on the series.

"It's definitely been a tough series so far. They play a really physical game, and in order to win we have to match that. So it's always a tough, hard game."

Upgang says it can be a struggle to get line changes off quickly on the fly in Shoal Lake.

"You can't change three at a time, or two defense at a time, so you have to pick off girls 1-by-1 there. Also the atmosphere is a pretty intense atmosphere, they always have a lot of fans out watching and cheering for the Chiefs too. So it's a pretty tough atmosphere to play in as well."

She adds they need to continue winning the battles in the corner, and in front of the net.

"There's a lot of battles in the corners. So we need to play physical and play strong because they're a pretty strong, bigger team -- and they have a lot of older girls on their roster as well. So the size is definitely a factor in the corners, but we just need to keep playing physical and getting those rebounds is important."

The best-of-5 series is tied at 1 game a piece. Tonight's game starts at 7:30
